The regrets, the heartbreaks, all the pain.
Or do you see the good, all of the smiles and laughter you shared.
Or maybe that "special someone" you love.

What do I see?
I see the choices I never made, the words I never said.
It's the moments I never had that will haunt me.

But then there's the times I'm with you, were I close my eyes, and all I can see is the angel beside me.
laughing at some corny joke I told,
walking down the hall proudly holding my hand smiling at the students that don't quite understand,
telling me how much you lo
